My dogs have a lot of toys. Squeaky toys, tug toys, fuzzy toys and lots of balls and discs to take to the park. Some toys are made better than others, that is for sure. There are some that last for months (or longer) and some that last a day. We want well-made toys that will keep our dogs stimulated and happy. Like humans, our furry friends need stimulation to support a happy and healthy brain. We were recently introduced to a product called Qwizl from West Paw Design. West Paw Design sets out to make the world’s safest and highest quality dog (and cat) toys. The company incorporates sustainable practices in manufacturing and thoughtfully designs all of their toys and beds.

We received two Qwizl toys, which is a challenging puzzle dog toy that can help with brain development, but can fill their time and bellies at the same time. The Qwizl is safe and durable and will have your dogs enjoying every challenging minute of this toy. My dogs—Colby and Winston—couldn’t wait to try this toy out. I decided to cut up some of their favorite jerky treats to stuff inside the toy. It’s a good thing that we received two toys, as I don’t think there is ANY way either of them would have shared!

What’s great about this toy is you can use all different types and sizes of treats. It’s good to switch it up, as it will keep them engaged. As I mentioned, I used some of their favorite treats, but you can also use dental sticks, bully sticks, sausages, pieces of salmon, cheese spread or even mix in some kibble. It’s the perfect toy for dogs of all stages from younger puppies (3 to 4 months) to help them focus their chewing, to adult dogs that don’t need to move around a lot to be challenged. This toy will fit in between any dog’s paws and will keep them motivated and busy.

Another great benefit of this toy is that is a distraction during stressful situations, such as thunderstorms or fireworks. I will definitely be filling the Qwizl up with treats during the fourth of July to help with my pooches’ anxiety.

The Qwizl is a wonderful, sturdy toy that my dogs love. In addition, this toy is latex-free, BPA and Phthalate free, non-toxic and FDA compliant. It is also easily washable—you can just pop it in the dishwasher. The Pet Fountain is especially ideal for households with multiple pets, like mine! The submersible pump constantly circulates the water through the bowl, keeping the water tasting fresh for your pets. What I really like about this bowl is that it is BPA-free and it is very easy to clean. It comes apart easily and you can just put it in the dishwasher. It’s also very quiet so you hardly know that there’s a pump running.

The Pet Fountain is easy to set up and my dogs immediately checked it out and both enjoyed a long cool drink of water. The fountain comes with an activated carbon filter for removing bad tastes and odors. It fits easily into the pump compartment and it’s recommended to not only clean the fountain regularly, but it’s important to replace the filter ever two to four weeks to keep the water fresh and clean for your furry family members.

There are three sizes to choose from – 40 ounce, 80 ounce, and 120 ounce water capacity. Since I have two dogs, the largest one felt like the right choice for me. It also is available in two colors, purple orchid and forest green, so you can choose the one that you like best. I love purple, so my dogs get their water delivered in a pretty purple bowl.
