We adopted our dog, Miss Nellari when she was 8 weeks old and love her! Within days of her coming into our lives, she became a valued member of our family. Over the years we’ve built a great relationship with her and our children just adore her.
Miss Nellari is now 9 years old. She is part Dingo and part Siberian Husky. She is what you would consider to be a senior aged dog. As she has aged, arthritis has set in and dental problems have risen. So what does this mean? It means that we have to give her treats that are easily digestible, contain no rawhide and treats that taste good!

The treats are wrapped with real chicken, have a chewy texture, contain real chicken and contain no artificial flavors. These tender chews are great for the sensitive teeth of older dogs and for the mouths of smaller dogs.
One of the things I really appreciate with these dog treats is the fact that they don’t contain rawhide. Miss Nellari can’t have anything that has rawhide and it isn’t good for their digestive systems. Being rawhide-free is really important to me.
Next, I really like that they come in resealable packages. I can take one treat out, reseal the package and put it away until next time. This helps to keep the treats fresh and makes them portable. We like to take packages of treats with us when we take Nellari to the dog park or when we’re out running around doing errands.
Miss Nellari loves her new dog treats from Hartz. While we’ve owned and tried other Hartz products over the years, this was her first time enjoying these specific treats. When I say that Miss Nellari loves them, she really does! She won’t touch any of her old treats, she sniffs them and then walks away. When we give her one of these new Hartz dog treats, she takes it and devours it within minutes. They’re now her new favorites!

What a beautiful mix for a dog! We have a senior dog too he’s about 14 and going on strong. He’s my daughter’s “favorite” person 🙂
