Polly Pocket has been around for decades and I can remember playing with Polly Pocket toys in the 1990’s. The first item I had received was a play set that was found underneath our Christmas that year. From the time on I’ve been a big fan of Polly Pocket and now my daughter is too!

One of the things I’ve always loved about this line of toys is their portability. Everything is made on a smaller scale, so your favorite toys can go along with you. That’s right, they can go with you to grandma’s house, to the babysitters, to daycare and on vacation. They don’t take up a lot of room which means you can have several play sets in your collection.
For this holiday gift guide feature we received 3 individual play sets to check out for all of you. After receiving the items…I decided to give one to my daughter now and hold the other 2 play sets until Christmas.
Polly Pocket Beach Vibes Backpack Play Set – This set is made for children ages 4 and up. The play set is actually a plastic backpack done in a beach design. There is a built-in hotel room, beach with ocean, a swimming pool, dance club, a speed boat, hotel front desk, etc. There are 3 included dolls, so Polly can have some fun with her friends. This is the larger of the 3 sets that we received.
Polly Pocket Snowball Surprise Compact Play Set – This set is for children ages 4 and up. This play set is done in a ski lodge theme and comes with 3 dolls. There is a sled, a chairlift, a snowman and other accessories to go along with that theme. I think it’s absolutely adorable!!!
Polly Pocket Teeny Bopping Compact Play Set – Out of the three sets…this one is mini sized and perfect to take along in the car or any where your little girl goes. It’s done in a rock star band theme with a drum set, microphones, guitars, keyboard, a star-shaped stage, etc. It’s way too cute!
All 3 of these Polly Pocket Play Sets would make a great holiday gift! I enjoyed playing with these toys when I was a little girl and now I get to share my love for Polly Pocket with my own little girl. They’re classic toys that will entertain your little one and quickly become her favorites!

During the holidays I like to “stuff” a large gift bag with goodies for each of my grandchildren instead of using a holiday stocking. The reason I use a gift bag is because their parents do the Christmas stocking, so I wanted to do something different.

If you’ve been following this blog for the past few years you’ll already know that we hold frequent family game nights. We’ve been playing these 5 card games with our grandchildren and god son. What’s really nice is that each game is different, so I highly recommend that you pick-up all five!
I really like that each game is quick to play and helps to teach our children valuable skills that they need in life. Kids always learn better when that learning is made fun! Games are a great way to teach our children! Next, I love the size of these games! I can pack them in a travel bag and take them along with us when we travel. They don’t take up a lot of space and you don’t have a million pieces to lose!
