As parents, it’s important that we provide our children with quality-made educational toys and games. These products need to teach our children valuable life-skills, math, reading, science, or other important things. The Robobloq Coding Express Color-Driven Toy Smart Train Set is made for children ages 3 and up. It comes with the Robobloq Coding Express Train, 24 pieces of wooden track, 4 sets of Inductive Stickers and the instruction book. All of it comes nicely packaged in a cardboard storage box. You can easily take this box with you when traveling (to keep kids busy on rainy days) or to grandma’s house. You will need to supply your own 3 AAA batteries.
It can be used three different ways:
* Intelligent Avoidance
* Coloring Sensing (stickers included)
* Whistle Control (you provide the whistle)
It can be set up two different ways:
* Track Mode
* Free Mode (on a table-top, floor or other hard surface)
When you set it up in track mode you can set up the train tracks in a variety of different patterns. It’s also compatible with majority of train set brands like Thomas & Friend, IKEA, BRIO, Melissa & Doug and Orbrium. So, if you have any of those, feel free to mix-n-match them.
Track Mode: the combination between Coding Express and the inductive stickers brings the play much more fun. Paste the stickers on the completed wooden tracks, the train will execute the instructions on the stickers when passing through. The inductive stickers have 19 instructions, including orientation, pop music, treasure hunt and ambulance. Compatible with majority of train set brands like Thomas & Friend, IKEA, BRIO, Melissa & Doug and Orbrium
Free Mode: under this mode, the train can be played off the track. Pressing the ON button to start the train and then press button B, enter into the intelligent tracking function; press button B again, the train will switch to the intelligent avoidance function, avoiding your hands or any objects in front of it automatically
As a parent I’m always looking for new STEM and STEAM toys from my children. We set this up on a table in our kitchen and my 5 year old son had a blast playing with it at grandma’s house. Once we got home he set it up again on our hardwood kitchen flooring. It worked well in both places.
This Smart Train will provide children with hours upon hours of educational fun! They’ll learn how to problem solve, how to put things together, how to change things up, color perception, induces logical thinking, and so much more! It’s a play-based activity that sparks their creative thinking.
Prince is 5 years old and once we showed him how it works and how to set it up…he was on his own. It’s not one of those type’s of toys that you have to spend hours upon hours teaching your kid how to use it. One of the nice things about this train set is that play time is never the exact same thing twice. They can set up the track differently, use the train in different ways, etc. This keeps them learning, entertained and boredom at-bay.

My son is 4 years old and he’s all about boats, sharks, construction vehicles and fire trucks this year. One of the toys at the top of his list was the Animal Planet Shark Research Boat which includes 3 sharks! The play set is for children ages 3 years and up.

The Research Boat is a really nice size and the batteries come already installed. There are 3 push buttons on top of the boat so that kids can press them to make the lights flash and the emergency sounds go off. Super easy to operate.
Included in the set are 3 different sized sharks that look really realistic. I believe two of them are Great Whites, not sure about the third. The action figures have movable arms and legs, so they can be posed when playing with them. The diving cage opens and closes, so you can put your scuba diver inside it and keep him safe.
There are 13 small accessories: flashlight, hat, camera, binoculars, under-water flashlight, and other fishing-style type of gear. Sorry, I don’t fish so I’m unsure of all of the names of the gear. With that said, having the accessory pack helps to add to the creative play experience for the child.
What a fun set! Your little one can play with it on the floor, outside in the dirt or put it into the bathtub. They can mix-n-match it with other Animal Planet toys that they already own. It’s well-made and I really like that its on the “larger” size which makes it even more fun to play with.
