My husband and I started dating back in the mid 1980’s and have been together ever since. Shortly after we started dating he gave me my first Precious Moments figurine to honor our 6 months dating anniversary. From that time forward he’s presented Precious Moments items to me as gifts for my birthday, our wedding anniversary, Christmas gifts, Valentine’s Day and Easter gifts, Get Well Gifts, Just Because I Love You and so forth. * “I Am A Child of God” Photo Frame is made out of ceramic and glass. The picture frame will hold a 4″ by 6″ photo and has an easel back and a saw-tooth hanger. You can display it on a bookcase, shelf, table-top, desk-top or hang it up on the wall. You simply unlatch the back and insert your photograph.
* “I Am A Child of God” Cross is made out of ceramic and has a built-in stand on the bottom so that it will stand up on a shelf or table-top. There is a little metal cross dangling in the heart-shaped cut-out. It stands an impressive 7.25″ tall.
* “I Am A Child of God” Rosary Box is made out of ceramic and measures 1 1/2″ high. You life the lid off of the box to find an included rosary inside. I love that they printed the words inside the rosary box too! Such a darling and sweet little item!

We had my grandson baptized last year and we’ll be placing all 3 of these items in his bedroom. Even though he’s a boy, I’ve already started collecting Precious Moments items for him. These 3 items will be displayed on a shelf and will add whimsy to his decor. I love the little Precious Moments lamb that is featured on each item along with the words “I Am A Child of God” which has heartfelt meaning. I think they’re the perfect baby shower and/or baptism gifts!

For my review I received the Jumbo Monkey Snuggle Mat for kids that measures a whopping 71″ long by 53″ wide. The plush & plump attached pillow measures 28″ long by 20″ wide and this is a brand new product to the HearthSong line. One of the things that immediately drew me to this item (beside it’s cuteness) is it’s size! I have 2 grandchildren and 1 godson that are always over at my home. I needed a mat that was large enough to accommodate all three of them when they’re here together.
This snuggle mat is machine washable and 100% reversible! When you touch it, you’ll be impressed with how super-soft it is. Heck, I would love some blankets for my own bed made out of this material. It’s also padded, so it’s a great floor mat for the kids to play on, read books, watch movies during family movie night or let them use it during naptime. When my little grandson takes a nap, I let him nap on it and just use another throw blanket to cover him up with.
The pillow portion is the monkey’s head and then you’ll find two arms, two legs and if you look closely, you’ll see the little tail. How cute is that? Totally cute! All of the monkey’s facial features are stitched on, so you don’t have to worry about the kids pulling anything off. Just for the smile factor, check out his tongue that is hanging out? Isn’t that cute? Yes, it is!
