Mrs. Renfro’s Salsas and Barbecue Sauces are Perfect for the Holidays

Mrs. Renfro’s Salsas and barbecue sauces are a staple in our home. We use their salsas all year long when we’re hosting parties and entertaining guests. During the summer months we serve them during our backyard pool parties and at our summer barbecues. During the fall and winter season we serve them during our game day parties and at our holiday parties. During the spring they’re perfect for family get together’s and spring picnics. They’re perfect any time of the year!

Back in September I shared my thoughts with you on 2 flavors of their gourmet salsa. You can revisit my previous Mrs. Renfro’s post to learn more about them. For this special holiday gift guide feature I’ll be introducing you to a Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and their flavorful barbecue sauce.

Mrs. Renfro’s Tequila Salsa – This salsa is classed as a “medium” bodied salsa. It contains no preservatives and is gluten-free. If you like tequila and lime combined together, you’re going to love this salsa. It’s great with your favorite chips, as a dip, a marinade and one way we enjoyed it was as a topper on our breakfast burritos! Hubby also liked it as a dip with his favorite tortilla chips and mixed in with his cheesy omelet ingredients. It’s a very versatile salsa that can be used a ton of different ways.

Mrs. Renfro’s Classic Barbecue Sauce – This is a “medium” bodied barbecue sauce that contains no high fructose corn syrup. You can use it as a marinade for steak, chicken, pork, fish, etc. We tried it on both pork and chicken and loved it equally as well. I also made a 1/2 rack of short ribs in my slow cooker and used 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce with that. This is not a “sweet” type of barbecue sauce, it’s definitely on the classic flavor side. It’s not overly spicy, just enough of a kick to add a little heat to whatever you’re having. A great all-around barbecue sauce!

Mrs. Renfro’s Gourmet Salsas are available nationwide, so look for them at your local grocery store or shop directly online. They’re affordable and delicious! I recommend stocking up for the holiday season, so that you’ll always have a few jars on hand for your family get-together’s and your holiday parties.
