The Ladybug Movie on DVD

Synopsis: In this adorable family adventure, YouTube star Lisa Schwartz plays a plucky ladybug named Ruby. Longing for the beauty and freedom of Golden Canyon, she escapes her laboratory cage and joins forces with Master Dan, a crafty dragonfly. With help from a hungry frog king, an artistic earwig, and a stinky dung beetle, they make their way to this magical land.

Last weekend I sat down with my 3 year old son and 9 year old daughter to watch The Ladybug during our family movie night. We really enjoyed watching this movie! As a parent I was really happy to sit down and watch an animated film that wasn’t “princess” or “superhero” related. I don’t know about your family, but we’re tired of the same old, same old thing! This movie is completely different with an original & entertaining story line.

All of the characters in this movie are adorable! You find yourself drawn into the story line and cheering them on. We don’t give out spoilers here on the blog, but I will tell you that is a great movie to add to your child’s video library and it’s here just in-time for holiday gift-giving! A great gift all on its own or use it as a stocking stuffer.
