Let me introduce you to my new favorite household cleaning scrubbing sponges! They’re made by a company called Pinguino. The Scrub Empress is a dual sided scrubber and sponge. These scrubbing sponges are fantastic! They’re safe to use on all non-stick pans and surfaces. Plus, they’re glass-friendly.
Here’s how they work:
If you use them in warm water the sponge will be softer and if if you use them in cold water the sponge will instantly become firmer.
There are times when I’m doing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen when I just need a soft-sided sponge…then there are other times when I need a sponge with a more firm texture to get grime and stubborn food out of my pots and pans. By using the Scrub Empress, all I need is ONE SINGLE SPONGE…not multiples of different ones to complete the task!

Besides using them to wash dishes, pots and pans…I like using the Sponge Empress to clean my glass mason jars. I’m a home canner and it’s hard to find sponges that fit down inside a jar to get it nice and clean. These work perfectly for that task too!
