Last month I went out shopping and hit two of our local thrift stores. When I go thrift shopping…I don’t vist the stores that are filthy dirty and sell mostly junk. I’m partifular when I go thrifting and hit-up stores that are clean and well-organized. I like to look at a variety of different products and I like to go during the weekdays when I can take my time and look around. The weekends can get crazy busy!

I spent an hour in the first thrift store and purchased 2 brand new with tags polo shirts for my husband, a bag full of unused greeting cards and this brand new flameless pillar candle done in a coastal beach style. I decorate our home in a coastal style and new the perfect place for this new candle! It was only $3.00 and is battery-operated with a 4 hour timer. I have flameless candles all over our home.
The second thrift store was a little more busier so I didn’t get to look at everything that I wanted to. In the home decor section I purchased 2 lead crystal candle sticks and this adorable beach themed candle plate. I knew that was the perfect plate to sit my new flameless candle on that I had purchased earlier that day. Cost for that candle plate was $1.49. Gosh, I love shopping for bargains!
Once I got home I placed the candle on the plate and guess what? Perfect sized set! Yay! I think they look adorable together. I placed it in our family room on a shelf. It looks totally adorable along with all of my other coastal and beach decor. For the “look” I spent $4.49 plus tax. What a deal!
