It’s hard to believe that 35 years have passed since the original release of Steel Magnolias. Over the decades I believe I’ve watched the film at least a dozen times. It’s one of those movies that makes you laugh and laugh. It’s a hit with an all-star cast. One of the best chick-flicks ever. If you’re a fan…get ready for the new 35th Anniversary release DVD. SYNOPSIS: Six divas of the silver screen – Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts – come together as bosom buddies in this hilarious and heartwarming story of life, love and loss in a small Louisiana parish.
