Do you do anything special for St. Patrick’s Day? Do you enjoy a special Irish meal or treat? Go out or stay home? Do you go out of your way to wear GREEN on St. Patty’s Day? I think it’s just a lot of fun. One of my favorite things to enjoy is an old-fashioned homemade candy called Irish Potato Candy and yes…it’s made with potatoes! My great grandmother used to make them every year around St. Patty’s Day.

I need to look up Irish Potato Candy. This is a new one for me. We sometimes make Irish Stew at home. Don’t go out because it is too busy and crazy.

Irish Potato Candy never heard called irish. My mother (94) used to make it all the time when I was a kid. It was my favorite. Today I buy a box at krogers and eat a couple of pieces. Just to sweet for me.
