Two weeks ago my wife and I headed to one of the local antique’s malls in our area. We have several to choose from but opted for the one in Hummelstown. This particular one carries antiques, collectibles, handcrafted items, upcycled furniture, candles, crafts and even new items that have never been opened or use. You can find everything and anything there.
The building used to be an old factory store (candy factory) but has long been gone. The owners who bought it several years ago turned it into a co-op store carrying the type’s of items I listed above. There are hundreds of different sellers/vendors spread across 3 floors in the old factory. We spend about 2 hours there every time we go. The prices are fair and reasonable, not over-priced like many other antique’s malls and stores in the area.
On our most recent shopping trip we spend $9.43 (that included tax) on 4 items that we purchased. That was a bargain deal! Here’s what we got.
New in the original box Outdoor Holiday Christmas Lantern. It can be hung up indoors or outdoors. I’ll be putting it up Christmas 2024 as a new addition to our holiday light’s display. Then my wife selected the silvertone metal Christmas card holder with a snowman at the top. She’s been wanting something to display holiday greeting cards in. She got a new unopened pack of 4 large scallop shells for baking. She’s using them in her crafts. The final item was a new handmade sandollar and starfish Christmas ornaments from one of our favorite places at the Jersey Shore.
I go BIG for Christmas holiday lights decorating and every year I add new pieces to our outdoor collection of holiday lights. Anytime I can find pieces at bargain prices I like to pick them up. I really like old and vintage holiday lights too, especially blow molds but I didn’t see any there on this particular shopping trip.
