Early Morning Beach Walks in North Wildwood

Early Morning Beach Walks in North WildwoodWe visit North Wildwood in New Jersey several times every year. It’s our HAPPY PLACE and we’re looking forward to moving them after Hubby retires in 3 years. We’ve been visiting the island since the year 2000 and have loved it ever since. Tons of family memories over the decades!

One of the things we enjoy doing is taking beach walks. We often start off our day with an early morning beach walk to watch the sunrise and/or to collect shells. In my honest opinion, the North Wildwood and Hereford Inlet are the prettiest places to walk! It’s also less crowded during the summer tourist season than other areas.

To get onto the beach in that particular area you need to cross over the North Wildwood Seawall. You’ll find plenty of places to access the beach. Parking is by paid meter (during the summer season) unless you’re staying nearby…then walk!

There are 3 nice wood gazebos along the North Wildwood beach area that you can sit down in and enjoy the view. There are 2 public restrooms with running water that are open during the in-season. There are some porta-potties up on the beach too. However, I avoid those as they’re typically not very clean.

Today I’m sharing 2 photographs from a beach walk we had in mid October 2023. As you can see, we had the beach to ourselves which is how we love it! The weather is still warm and there’s plenty of room for us to walk, sit, or whatever on the beach!!!

Morning beach walks are the best. I like the quiet and serenity. It looks beautiful there.
