Scrubzz Rinse Free Bath Sponges – Perfect for Elder Care, Travel and Camping

I’m chronically ill and getting a regular bath or shower can be difficult especially after surgery. There are weeks that I just physically can’t get into the bathtub or shower. In the past I had to have my caretaker or nurse get a basin full of water, a soap bar, wash cloth, towel, etc. out so that I could bathe using the basin filled with water. What a hassle and it can be messy!

Scrubzz Rinse Free Bath Sponges

A few months ago I ordered the Scrubzz Rinse Free Bath Sponges from Amazon. These no-rinse bath sponges are fantastic! You can use them to bathe your body and/or to wash your hair. They’re perfect for elder care, baby care, travel, camping, after-surgery care, etc.

All you need to do is activate each bath sponge with a little bit of water. A tablespoon or two of water (even bottled water) is all that you need. Then rub the sponge together to lather it up. Use to cleanse your body and then towel or air dry. No rinsing is required!!!

Unlike other bathing wipes and diaper wipes that I’ve tried…these are the BEST things EVER! They’re soft against the skin, over-sized and semi-thick. They don’t rip and fall apart while you’re using them. They’re dry bath sponges until you moisten them with water. Easy to take on-the-go with you when traveling.

I’ve had 40+ surgeries in my 56 years of life…so I know all about trying to keep myself clean while recovering from surgery or illness. I was frustrated in the past with everything that I had tried. The Scrubzz Rinse Free Bath Sponges are seriously the best things EVER!!!

They come in a resealable bag. But…since we travel I like to fold up 15 or so bath sponges and place into a clear zipper closure bag (like a quart size freezer bag). I pack them in our luggage. We can use them while traveling if needed. With that said, they’ve been a lifesaver to me at home. I can now wet them using bottled water, bathe and towel dry without pestering anyone for assistance. They allow me to be independent while doing self-care at home.

Another great use? Well, I put 12 of them into a clear zipper closure bag and I keep that bag in our emergency kit at home. If we lose power during a storm we can now keep ourselves clean. I highly recommend you place a few in your home emergency kit too!!!

You can purchase the Scrubzz Rinse Free Bath Sponges from Amazon for an affordable price. Pick up a pack for yourself and grab a few others to give to loved ones.

  1. I can see how this would be such a useful item for those who have had health issues. I could absolutely see using them when traveling and good idea for an emergency kit.
