I’m a guy who enjoys doing a little cooking. When I say cooking, I like recipes that only require a few simple ingredients and a few steps to make. I’m not into complicated meal prep or recipes. I like it easy and it has to taste good. If you’re like me, you’re going to love the Thai Seasoned Sweet Chili Baked Chicken that I made last week.

Pereg sent me a package of their Premium Whole Wheat Panko which I used in the recipe. The Premium Panko is non-GMO, All Natural, Low Sodium, Vegan, Kosher and made in the U.S.A. This panko is an extra crispy coating for Schnitzel, fish, poultry, vegetables, and more. No additives and no preservatives! I followed the recipe right on the package which is below.
Pereg Whole Wheat Premium Panko Baked Chicken Recipe
2 medium eggs
6 pieces of chicken (I used 4 legs and 2 thighs)
1/2 to 3/4 cup Pereg Premium Whole Wheat Panko
Crack eggs into a small bowl. Whip with a whisk. Pour Pereg Whole Wheat Panko on a plate. Dip the chicken into the egg covering it on all sides. Then roll the chicken in the Panko…covering it on all sides.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place coated chicken pieces into a glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes or until the chicken is done. Remove. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
We loved the Whole Wheat Panko Baked Chicken. This panko gives your baked chicken an extra crispy crunch. I’m watching my weight, so I prefer to bake or airfry poultry to keep the calories down. The serving size on the package is 3 Tbsp. for 94.9 calories per serving. This fits right into my dietary needs. The chicken was flavorful, moist and had the perfect amount of crispy-crunch. I’m going to use this Whole Wheat Panko as a topping on baked Mac & Cheese next.
