How many of you have always wanted to an electric stand mixer but didn’t want to pay $400 plus to get one? I’ve wanted one for years but couldn’t justify that price point because I wouldn’t be using it every day. I think if you’re going to use one daily and make huge batches of things…well then yeah, maybe I could justify that price point.
I decided to take a chance and buy the Hamiliton Beach Eletric Stand Mixer with 4 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl and Attachments from Amazon. You can find them in various colors and styles. We’re a family of 4 so I didn’t need one any larger than that. Like I said, I’m not a daily user. I selected one in a pretty mint green color to go with the other accessories in my kitchen.

The box arrived and I was super excited to unpack it. It comes with 3 attrachments – A dough hook, Flat Beater and Whisk and it comes with a splash guard that goes over-the-top of the 4-quart (included) mixing bowl. When storing it, just places the attachments inside the bowl. Unlike other stand mixers that I’ve seen…this one has a smaller footprint, so great for those of you with small kitchens that don’t have a lot of storage space.
There are 7 speeds that you can use to get the particular task done which are controlled via the dial on the side. The button to the left of that is how the arm of the mixer rises and lowers. Easy operation! There’s a mixing guide on the top to help guide you on which speed you need for that particular task. There’s a top handle so you can easily carry it around your kitchen.
Just like the big brand that you see advertised everywhere….you get complete bowl coverage when it’s mixing. It will get the sides and bottom of the bowl. You don’t need to stop and scrape down the walls. I love that complete bowl coverage! The bowl has easy-to-grab handles on each side. The Stainless Steel Bowl and Stainless Steel Attachments are all dishwasher safe.
My 14 1/2 year old daughter and I love the new Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer. We’ve used it to mix up cookie batter, brownie batter, a big bowl full of mashed potatoes (came out perfectly creamy), for mixing up bread and muffins batter, etc. I’m finding that we’re using it more than I ever expected because it’s so easy to use! You don’t need to sit down a read an operating manual, memorize things or any of that jazz. Just plug it in, turn the dial and you’re going!

I have had my electric stand mixer for 25+ years and consider it one of my best investments. I use it all the time.
I am baking more and more these day and sure could use one of these. I really like the color of this one and that price is great on Amazon thanks for sharing this one.
