Faeries & Magical Creatures Board Game

Faeries & Magical Creatures Board GameFrom that midsummer night when you and your great aunt Victoria gazed from the garden gate of her country manor and saw Faerie lights blinking near the edge of the forest, you knew that you HAD to get close to one, to speak to one, to befriend a real Faerie!

Brand new for 2023 comes the Faeries & Magical Creatures board game for ages 10 & up, for 2 to 4 players. The average play time is 45-60 minutes. If you love strategy games, you’re going to love this one. Unique and fun to play! Game designed by Glenn Drover with the art by Annie Stegg Gerard.

Faeries & Magical Creatures Board Game

Gameplay:

Discover 30 unique Faerie Folk and enlist their help by drafting cards. Gain the trust of the five Faerie Folk by placing Kinship Tokens. Build your Garden with flowers, paths, and Faerie Homes.

Select one of the five Actions on your turn (draft a new Card, play a Card from your hand, redraw up to five Cards from your Discard Pile, select and place a Polynormal Tile in our Faerie Garden, or place a Kinship Token in one of the five Faerie Folk Areas). The other players will then follow by playing the same Action. Once all players have performed the same Action, the Acting Player Token moves so that the next player can choose an Action. You can score many different ways via your Cards, Area majority, and Tile placement in your Garden.

The winner of the game is the player with the most Victory Points moved on their Faerie Garden at the end of the game. Victory Points are earned during the game through the Garden, on the Player Board, through Cards and other ways.

Game Contents:

1 Game Board, 4 Garden Player Boards, 60 Faerie Cards, 16 Starting Cards, 160 Wood Kinship Tokens, 1 Acting Player Token & Stand, 8 Wood Scoring/Action Pawns, 48 Garden Tiles, 5 Faerie Home Tiles, 1 Cinch Bag and the Rules Manual.

This game is different and unique. If you’re tired of the same old, same old board games…pick up the Faeries & Magical Creatures! We sat down to play this with 2 adults and 2 teenagers a few weeks ago and loved it. It took us about an hour to play.

It’s a strategy game, so you do have to think about your moves and game play. You can play this game hundreds of times and it won’t be the same game twice! The artwork is incredible…absolutely stunning!!! I think it’s the perfect game to play on family game night if you have older children in the family. Let’s face it, teens don’t want to sit around playing kiddie games. No teens in the family? Don’t worry, it’s the perfect ALL ADULT game too!
