Younger, Healthier Skin with Illuminessence Handcrafted, Organic Skincare

I have been traveling quite a bit lately and on my last trip, I packed my bag full of Illuminessence products and what a good move that was. I’ve been enjoying several products from Illuminessence, which I’m looking forward to sharing with you.

Illuminessence was founded in 2017 and all its products are dermatologist tested and approved. The company only uses all-natural, organic products and the only preservative that is ever used is Eco-Certified in compliance with Organic Labeling. In addition, all of the profits go into the company’s 501c3 non profit, Sacred Hearts Healing Center.

I have been using four different products in the Illuminessence line—the You are Activated Facial Cleanser and Exfoliant, the Cucumber Hyaluronic Acid Serum, the Clear Me Oil Blend and the Itch Fix. Here’s a little overview of each of these fantastic products.

You are Activated Charcoal Face Scrub and Mask – this is a facial cleanser and scrub but can also be used as a face mask. It contains activated charcoal, which draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion (think acne-fighting powerhouse). Additionally, the product contains Helichrysum and Frankincense to assist in reducing fine lines and wrinkles while the Tea Tree and Lavender work together to perfect your skin.

It feels great on your skin, and I immediately noticed how much better my skin looked and felt after using this. You simply wet your face and massage into the skin in a circular motion. You can even leave it on as mask for a few minutes. It feels luxurious and the smell is divine—it reminds me of a spa day.

Cucumber Hyaluronic Acid Serum – with its silky smoothness, this collagen-boosting, hydrated facial serum will have you looking and feeling younger. It is extremely lightweight, and a little bit goes a long way. You simply apply this product to your clean face (after the scrub) and before you moisturize. It contains ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Vitamin B5, among others. It’s the ideal anti- aging serum—a refreshing remedy for thirsty skin.

Clear Me Acne Oil Blend – this was one of my favorites in the bunch as I’ve had some breakouts lately and this product was definitely my hero. It’s a compact product, which fits into a travel bag or purse easily. With its rollerball design, you simply roll this product over breakouts or acne-prone areas to let the healing begin! This product contains all organic ingredients such as Black Cumin Seed Oil, Rose Hip Seed Oil, Eucalyptus, and Geranium. My breakouts cleared up within a day or two—what a little miracle product! For added skin support, incorporating an astaxanthin supplement into your routine can help protect against oxidative stress and promote a healthy complexion. My only warning is that it does have a very strong smell, which I did not mind, but some people might be sensitive to it. I think it’s the Eucalyptus.

Itch Fix – this product falls into the pain relief category on the website and that certainly makes sense. I’m a target for mosquitos—they love me. I’m usually covered in bites while others sit there carefree enjoying a beautiful summer night. This product comes to the rescue and relieves the symptoms of those pesky bites. In addition, it’s also helpful to have around for eczema, psoriasis, poison ivy, poison oak and other rashes. This little rollerball will have you feeling relief in no time. It contains Lavender, Myrhh, Tea Tree, Frankincense, Patchouli and Fractionated Coconut Oil.
