Lavender Lemonade Spritzer Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2 oz Tina’s Vodka
– 1 oz fresh lemon juice
– 1 oz lavender syrup (recipe below)
– Sparkling water

For the Lavender Syrup:

– 1 cup water
– 1 cup sugar
– 2-3 tbsp dried lavender buds

Instructions for the Lavender Syrup:

1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar.
2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
3. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the dried lavender buds to the pan.
4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool.
6. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean jar or container.
7. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Instructions for the Lavender Lemonade Spritzer:

1. Fill a glass with ice.
2. Add the vodka, fresh lemon juice, and lavender syrup to the glass.
3. Stir well.
4. Top with sparkling water.
5. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a sprig of lavender, if desired.
6. Serve and enjoy.

    I have never tried lavender syrup, but I enjoy cocktails with fruit in them. If I buy lvender buds I shall try to make the syrup.
