Big Savings on Women’s Winter Apparel

Looking to save money on next season’s winter apparel? If so, now is the time to be hitting up all of the stores for their after-season sales! That’s right…the stores are already stocking their spring and summer apparel…now is the time to pick up some new fashions for next year.

I headed to one of my favorite stores when I’m bargain shopping for apparel. It’s called Gabe’s and it’s about 10 minutes from my home. Their inventory changes on a weekly basis. You can walk in one week and find deals…go back the following week and find new items to snag! It’s never the same shopping adventure twice.

After going through my wardrobe I realized that I needed some casual winter shirts and long-sleeve tees for next winter. Mine were all getting shabby and needed to be updated. When I shop for casual shirts I try to stick to solids in traditional colors. That way they’re easier to mix-n-match in my wardrobe. I can wear with denim jeans, joggers, lounge pants, etc.

Gabe’s had their long-sleeve tees from several different name brand manufacturers marked down to $5.99 each. I picked up one in a heathered purple and one in a teal color. I then found a cotton & spandex knit gray shirt on clearance for $4.99 and toss that into my cart too. Finally…I found this super cute casual striped knit shirt marked down for $4.99 and grabbed it. I wish they would of had more of that one in my size in different colors as I would of nabbed additional ones too.

In summary, I got 2 casual tees for $12.00 and 2 casual shirts for $10.00 = $22.00 total spent for 4 nice quality casual women’s shirts. Score!!!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot (and I forgot to take a photo)…I did purchase a 2-piece women’s pajama set that was marked down to $8.00 for the set. It has a long sleeve, light-weight top with jogger style bottoms. Super comfortable and I wear it a lot. Well worth my $8 bucks!!!

So…if you need to pick up some basic winter apparel to put back for next year…now is the time to be out shopping. When I pre-buy from one season to the next I try to stick to classic styles and classic colors. I stay away from anything that may be considered trendy. This way what I buy now will be in-style next year too!
