Every year I start our outdoor Christmas decorating around November 1st and finish up in early December. I put up over 10,000 holiday lights, several inflatables, wreaths, and other decorations. It takes me weeks, but I really enjoy doing it. People particularly drive through our neighborhood to see the holiday lights.

This year we added a new Christmas inflatable to our collection from Elegear. It’s the 7 foot tall Elegear Surfing Santa Claus Inflatable. He’s large and in-charge! The largest inflatable in our collection! It comes with tie-down straps, anchor stakes, the built-in air inflator pump, a storage bag, instruction sheet, etc.
When setting up your inflatables you want to get everything out in place it in the space that you’re setting it up in. Make sure you have everything needed. Follow all instructions that come with it. You want to make sure it is strapped down and anchored correctly. You will need an electrical source, I only used approved outdoor extension cords. Never use an indoor one!
For the purpose of this review…I temporarily set it up in my backyard. It will be proudly displayed in my front yard once I get that section of the yard ready for it. I’ll update this post with another image or two once I have all of my Christmas lights and decorations in place. Since I know many of you are shopping now, I wanted to get the post and review up quickly.
Once I had the tethering cords on and the anchors into the ground…I turned on the built-in pump and it started to immediately inflate. The entire process from set-up to full inflation took less than 10 minutes, so it’s a quick and easy process. No tools are needed. Once it’s up…walk around the entire thing to make sure all areas are inflated with area and still anchored down. That’s it…you’re done!
If you’re new to inflatables you let the air pump run the entire time that you want it inflated. I typically turn mine on around 6pm and run it through 10pm or until I go to bed. If you’re expecting windy weather, you’ll want to keep it deflated that day. Snow and rain won’t hurt the inflatables at all…just be mindful of wind.
After the season is over you’ll want to put all of the tethering cords, ground anchors, the instruction sheet, and the inflatable back inside the included storage bag. Keep everything stored together. For storage, store it in a cool and dry area. Keep it out of a damp basement. You can easily store this underneath a bed, in a small closet, or your dry attic.
Elegear offers several different styles of outdoor Christmas Inflatables. They’re quality-made, easy to set up and the colors are bright & vivid. I’m really pleased with my new Surfing Santa Inflatable! You can check out the Elegear Amazon Store to see all of the fantastic Christmas and holiday items that they offer. In addition to seasonal items…they have great gift-giving items too!

This Santa looks like a great inflatable to have in one’s yard, especially if someone loves to surf. I have not yet put out any of my Christmas decorations.
This is the best inflatable I have seen. My son is a surfer so this would be so fun to have in his yard.
