Last month he received the Dorcy Pro Rechargeable Dual Flex Work Light to review for all of you. It’s the perfect work light for at-home or on-the-job. One of the best features is that it’s totally rechargeable and comes with a USB cord to recharge it. That’s a huge savings on batteries!

What hubby loves? Well, a lot! He can use it totally hands-free by hanging it up or sticking it to metal thanks to the magnetic base. He works in a lot of dark spaces (basements, attics, boiler rooms, etc.) , so portable lighting is important to him. Plus, that lighting has to be light-weight, versatile and provide enough light for him to see to do the job. This work light fits all of that and then some!
Hubby used it several times at home and one of his favorite places to use it is in the garden shed! Yes, the garden shed which has no lighting! The shed has metal walls and shelving, so it sticks it up in there while he’s working. He’s been spending time in the evening rebuilding an engine to his one lawn mower and repairing a snow blower.
Another place in our home that he likes to use it is in the basement. We have oil heat, so our big oil tank is down in the basement in a dark corner. Every 2-3 weeks from Fall to late Spring he goes down there to reader the gauges. We don’t like to ever go below a 1/4 tank, so he can stick it right on the tank to clearly see the gauges. Oh my, it has so many uses!
He has been dragging it back and forth from our home into work. At work he’s being using it when he’s working on hot water heaters, boilers, furnaces, etc. All of those items are metal, so he can stick it up (or hang it) to work completely hands-free. Having the 6 different lighting modes he can get exactly the amount of light he needs and he can angle the work light to get into small, tight spaces. He’s been raving and raving about this work light for the past 2 1/2 weeks!
