October is half over already. Time is flying by. My Dad will be turning 60 years old in 2 days! Even though he’s going to be 60, he’s still a kid at heart. If you asked both of my kids they would say that Pappy is their best friend. They love hanging out with him.
Glad the weekend is over. We were on yard clean-up most of the weekend raking and bagging leaves, digging out the vegetable garden, fertilizing a few trees and Big E planted some flower bulbs for me that will bloom in the springtime. What’s going on in your neck of the woods?
Looks like another fun week on the blog this week. I too have been doing yard work and preparing for cold weather here. We finally got some rain last night and that was a blessing.
Our trees are changing and the temp is dropping. The high for the week is around 60. Getting my warmer clothes out and starting to wear shoes again………….. already missing my sandals
The leaves are starting to come down now. We have so many trees. I am getting someone to help us this year. It is just too much for us and I don’t like yard work. Thank goodness for a great nephew that will do good work for Christmas money.
It looks like another enjoyable week is about to occur. Besides the usual great posts I can also look forward to the holiday gift guide. This week is finally going to have the colder weather I associate with fall.
