Longhorn Steakhouse Grill Seasoning Signature Blend

Longhorn Steakhouse Grill Seasoning Signature BlendI’m the type of guy who enjoys using my grill almost daily. I can make breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner on it which takes less time than heating up the oven. Some of my favorite grilled foods include steak, pork chops, fish (fresh and saltwater), chicken, kabobs, eggs, bacon, sausage, hot dogs, burgers, etc. Heck, I’ll sometimes make old-fashioned popcorn using my grill.

Two months ago I decided to try the Longhorn Steakhouse Grill Seasoning Signature Blend that I picked up at a local grocery store. LongHorn has used this proprietory blend of seasonings on its grilled steaks, chops, chicken, and seafoood for years. Now you can enjoy that same great taste at home.

The bold blend combines cumin, garlic, and peppers to bring out the flavor of anything you put on the grill. The ingredients include: flake salt, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, ground red chili pepper, paprika, onion powder, ground cumin seeds, canola oil, and silicon dioxide.

I purchased it in a 6 oz. shaker container that contains 283 servings, about 1/4 teaspoon per serving. Calories per serving ZERO. Got to like that if you’re watching your weight and cutting down on calories.

Here’s a few ways how I like to use it.

Chicken – Use it as a rub on your chicken breasts and thighs. Make sure you rub it on all sides.

Pork Chops – I baste a little bit of olive oil on each side of the chop and then rub the seasoning on it. Olive oil helps the pork to stay moist and tender while keeping the seasoning adhered to the meat. Juicy and flavorful results.

Potatoes: Wash and quarter potatoes. Make a packet out of aluminum foil. Baste potatoes with a little bit of unsalted butter and sprinkle the seasoning onto them. Place into foil packet and toss them onto the grill. Delicious.

Shrimp – Sprinkle on shrimp and toss them onto the grill or skewer on sticks to make kabobs. I really like the Longhorn Steakhouse Grill Seasoning on seafood, much better than a well-known brand that people see to use. Switch that out and give this one a try!

This does sound like a good grill seasoning for almost all foods. It is great to now be able to buy it in a store.
