How many of you enjoy eating chocolate? How about truffles? I admit, I’m a big fan of chocolate, especially when they’re truffles!!! Milk chocolate is my favorite, but I enjoy eating white and dark chocolate confections too!
Last month I was in the Dollar Tree store to purchase a few boxes of popsicles for the grandkids when I stumbled upon the Sherwood Milk, Dark, and White Chocolate Truffles. I found them in the candy aisle. You guessed it, $1.00 per box!
Inside the box you get 7 chocolate truffles. There are 3 milk chocolate, 2 dark chocolate, and 2 white chocolate balls of goodness! Serving size is 3 truffles which is approximately 170 calories. That’s less calories than the majority of full-size chocolate bars.
Anyway, I had never had them before so I tossed 3 boxes into my shopping cart. I figured if I didn’t like them (I’m a chocolate snob) that the grandchildren would most likely eat them. Well, guess what? I LOVED them! LOVED THEM!!!
I’ve had some very expensive chocolate truffles in my lifetime and some very inexpensive ones. While these aren’t the best that I’ve ever had…they’re really good! Well worth $1.00 for 7 of them. I my book, they’re a bargain!!! Matter of fact, I went back a week later and picked up the last 4 boxes they had sitting on the shelf. I hope they get them in again soon!

If you enjoy chocolate confections, especially chocolate truffles…head to your local Dollar Tree store and look for the box of Sherwood Chocolate Truffles. They’re delicious!!! (sorry, I ate two of them before I snapped the photo) LOL!

I love chocolate. I shall have to check the Dollar Tree store near me to see if they have these chocolates.
I go to the Dollar Store all the time and have not noticed these but I am surely going to be looking for them next time I go. What a good deal for a decent box of chocolates.
