The Dream Keepers by April Hartmann Children’s Book

The Dream Keepers by April Hartmann Children's BookI’m the mother of two children who love to read books. I started reading to both of my kids at a very early age which helped to instill the love of reading. Books help children to learn to read, spell, to sit patiently, to instill creativity and they’re great for family bonding time. We sit down a few times a week to enjoy a good book!

The Land of Dreams is a fantastic place, where wishes are born as a tiny twinkle of light, rising up from Inspiration Lake. From there, a wish must take a long journey in order to become a gleaming star in the sky–and it will need help along the way! So, every wish has two guardians known as Dream Keepers: one in charge of Happy Thoughts, and one in charge of Hard Work.

When a very special wish needs to reach a home all the way at the top of Challenge Mountain, can the Dream Keepers complete the journey? Or will they give up?

The Dream Keepers is an uplifting story about facing challenges with determination, and overcoming obstacles on the way to achieving your goals.

This book is a wonderful read that helps kids to build self esteem, to value of working hard and self reliance. The illustrations are gorgeous and the characters are adorable. The story line is inspiring and entertaining. My son is 5 1/2 years old and my daughter is 12 and both really enjoy the book. She has been leading our family reading time by reading the books to us. My son has been learning from my daughter which is nice to see.

If you’re shopping for a new book for your kids or shopping for one to gift..The Dream Keepers would be the perfect addition to any child’s library. It’s a book that kids would enjoy reading over and over. A real standout on my children’s bookshelf.
