The Classic Moscow Mule Cocktail has been around for decades and is one of the easiest drinks to make. They’re perfect to sip on year-round, but my favorite time of the year to enjoy one is poolside during the summertime. It’s a light and refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
Prep time is approximately 2 minutes per drink. The recipe ingrdients make 1 serving. Great beginner recipe for those looking to learn how to make cocktails at home.
Classic Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe
1?1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
3-4 ice cubes
1/2 cup ginger beer
1 fresh lime wedge for garnish
Pour the vodka and fresh lime juice into a mug. Add 3-4 ice cubes and the ginger beer. Use a stir stick or cocktail straw to gently stir together. Place a fresh lime wedge on the rim of the mug for garnish.
Note: The Classic Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug. If you don’t have one any mug will do.

Although this looks like a refreshing drink I don’t think I would enjoy it, It would be too alcoholic for me.
Can it be serve warm or is cold recommended
I have heard about Moscow Mules before but never have tried one. This sounds easy to make the only thing I don’t have is the ginger beer.
I have not had one but it does sound interesting.

Enquiring minds want to know, so google found it for me.
This would be great with the hot weather we’ve been having. My question is: Why is it usually served in a copper mug?
