Cask & Kettle Ready to Brew Hard Coffee and Cider Cocktails

Cask & Kettle Ready to Brew Hard Coffee and Cider CocktailsFrom time to time my husband and I enjoy a freshly prepared hot cocktail. We sometimes serve them at adult get-togethers or enjoy one at the end of a long day to unwind. In the past we always had to make them completely from scratch (time consuming) and you had to have several ingredients on hand to make them. Well, not anymore!

* Complimentary products received for review.

Cask & Kettle makes a line of hard coffee and cider cocktails that come packaged in an easy-to-use k-pod that works in any Keurig-style brewer. They contain liquid ingredients, including the booze! All you need is water and any finishing touches (see below). They can be enjoyed one of two ways.

Keurig-style Brewing System

Place favorite mug on stand. Put 1 Cask & Kettle k-pod in brew machine. Select a lower water setting for a stronger brew. Too strong? Add more hot water or select higher setting for next mug.

No Brewing Machine Method

Pods contain liquid ingredients. Pour 3/4 to 1 cup of hot or cold water in a mug. Peel lid off 1 Cask & Kettle k-pod, pour in mug and stir. Add ice if desire for colder brew.

Optional Finishing Touches

You can add a splash of creamer, dollop of ice cream, 1/2 shot of coffee liqueur, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, toss in mini marshmallows, etc.

* Irish Coffee – Vodka, Irish Whiskey, and coffee with natural flavors. 76 Proof with 38% alcohol per pod.

* Mexican Coffee – Vodka, tequila and coffee with natural flavors and caramel color. 60 Proof with 30% alcohol.

In addition to the four flavors we tried, they offer Spiked Dry Cider. Each sleeve contains 5 k-pods, so each sleeve will make 5 complete cocktails. Brewing instructions are printed on the package along with serving suggestions.

Hubby and I tried all 4 varieties and the funny thing is that I loved the Mint Patty Coffee and Irish Coffee, while he loved the Hot Blonde Coffee and Mexican Coffee. I tossed in a few of their finishing touches (listed above) while he enjoyed them without. Honestly, they all had a nice taste to them, just letting you know which each of us preferred. I would buy and drink all four!

One of the things I really like about them is that we do a lot of traveling. A lot of hotels, motels, and bed & breakfast inns have Keurig-style brewers. We can take them with us when we travel which is a lot easier (and safer) than dragging around alcohol and other ingredients. In less than 3-4 minutes we have a hot cocktail to drink.

Each sleeve costs $14.99 which gets you 5 complete cocktail drinks. That’s a deal! Have you ever ordered one while dining out? They charge a fortune! Now you can make them yourself which saves time and money. Plus, you can make them a little stronger or if too strong…add additional water. You can tailor them to your own liking.

Head on over to Cask & Kettle to learn more about the company and the ready-to-brew hot cocktails that they have to offer. You can order online and have them shipped straight to your front door. Connect with the company on Facebook too.

I have never had a drink like this. The only hot I have chocolate with some baileys. But this sounds like something I really need to get and have around for company
