Family Game Night – The Floor is Lava by Endless Games

The Floor is Lava by Endless GamesWe love games. All kinds of different games from playing cards to board games. I grew up having regular family game nights and now that I’m a parent to two children I’ve continued the tradition. It’s a great way for families to bond together and teaches children valuable life skills along the way.

Last week we played a fun new game called The Floor is Lava by Endless Games. It’s for ages 5 through 105 years of age and for 2-6 players. It gets children off their seat and onto their feet for some physical activity. Let’s face it, our children definitely need more of that. It can be played inside or outside.

It comes with the following: 1 game spinner, 25 colored foam safety stones, 1 instruction sheet, and 27 challenger cards.

The Floor is Lava by Endless Games

Everyone has played a version of this game as a child, most likely jumping all over the furniture in their living room trying to stay off the dangerous floor. The Floor is Lava is a brand-new game where players must imagine the floor is molten hot lava, while spinning for their color and jumping along foam game pieces in order to reach safety. The Floor is Lava is a family game incorporating physical activity, imagination, and pure fun!

Everything you need to play is included inside the storage box. One of the nice things about this game is that you can easily take it along with you when you travel, visit grandma’s house, etc. It’s light-weight and doesn’t take up a lot of room. If you’re traveling it’s a great way to keep kids occupied with a physical activity indoors or out. Kids having a sleepover or birthday party? Perfect for that too.

I have two children ages 5-12 years of age and they love this game. I admit, I’ve enjoyed playing it with them too. They had their 4 cousins over last weekend ages 5 to 13 and all of the kids had a blast playing it. The concept and instructions are easy-to-understand. Plus, you can come up with your own play variations as you go along.

We played 3 games during the sleepover party and the kids kept coming back to The Floor is Lava to play over and over again. They loved it!!!
