During the holiday season I like to give my children new Christmas books and holiday DVD’s to help build their excitement for the season. They have all of the classics, so I’m always looking for something new to add to their collection.

DreamWorks did a really nice job at putting together this Holiday Collection featuring some of their most beloved DreamWorks characters. There is something for every child to enjoy. My 4 year old son loves watching The Madagascar Penguins, Kung Fu Panda and Dragons. My 10 1/2 year old daughter loves watching Trolls and Shrek. Heck, they’ve been watching all of the episodes together, over and over again.

This is the type of holiday DVD you want to pick up now. I would recommend giving it to the child in your life around Thanksgiving and let them watch a new feature every week leading up to the holiday (Christmas) to help build their excitement. It’s also a great DVD to have on hand during holiday road trips. Just pop the DVD in and keep the children entertained during holiday travel. I feel the collection has broad age appeal from toddlers through adults. I find it entertaining too.

    There are so many good Christmas movies out there. My favorite in Its a Wonderful Life. It makes you feel good inside.

    I love Donkey’s Caroling Christmas-tacular. I just love Donkey and his voice. He makes this movie and all the Shrek movies so funny.
