GoPlay Wireless In-Ear Headphones from Kanex

We all use headphones nowadays, when listening to music, watching video, or talking on our phones. With that much use, it’s essential that headphones be comfortable and user-friendly with good sound, and GoPlay Wireless In-Ear Headphones from Kanex really deliver on all counts.

Launched in August, these new Bluetooth-compatible wireless headphones have some great features, and with an MSRP of $19.99, they’re a great value, too. They’re available in four colors (white, black, pink, and teal), perfect whether you prefer a traditional look or something a bit more fun.

My husband uses headphones a lot, and for different reasons. None of his current headphones fit him comfortably for more than a short time, so he was excited to try the GoPlay Wireless In-Ear Headphones. And he loves them! His first reaction was surprise at the excellent sound quality, especially the base response. After he’d been using them for a few days, I asked for his overall assessment, and he said that not only do they sound great, but they’re light and comfortable, and they work well both for phone use and for music and videos. He says they’re easy to charge using the included USB charging cable, another plus. They also work well for him when he’s wearing them while lying down—they stay in his ears, unlike his previous headphones. His Kanex GoPlay headphones are his new favorite!

These headphones are designed to be worn behind the neck, so there are no dangling cords to get in your way. They come with three sets of earbuds in different sizes so you can choose the ones that fit best, and they have “SureFit Hooks” to ensure that they stay in place. They work seamlessly with my husband’s iPhone, and Kanex promises that they’re “compatible with all Bluetooth enabled computers, tablets and smartphones.” Kanex’s explanation for the great sound quality is the “high-quality Qualcomm Chip for superior stereo sound.”

My husband reports that it takes about an hour for the headphones to fully charge when the battery is depleted, and that the charge lasts a long time. Specifically, Kanex states that the GoPlay headphones provide:

• Up to 4 hours of music play
• Up to 6 hours of talk time
• Up to 200 hours of standby time

These innovative headphones even tell you when the battery gets low—they literally speak to you through the earpieces. They also tell you when they’re powering on or off and when they’re connected. The controls for the unit are easy to use, and the built-in mic is just one more user-friendly feature of these fabulous Kanex headphones.
