Summer is quickly coming to an end and soon the fall and holiday season will be upon us. It’s never too early to start thinking about all of your holiday season crafts which take time to make. Heck, just last month I knitted new hats & scarves for my kids. Every year they get a new set as winter arrives.

As the holiday season approaches its time to get busy with all of our Christmas craft projects and homemade holiday decorations. Just last week I received the Cut & Assemble Santa’s Workshop an Easy-to-Make Paper Model Book by Matt Bergstrom and my family is currently working on it. Here’s some information from the publisher about it.

How fun is this? Totally fun! I have two children ages 10 and 4…and this has quickly become my family’s holiday decorating project. The pieces are not perforated, so you’ll need small scissors to cut out the pieces as you go along. All pieces are in color and there are step-by-step assembly instructions on each page. This is a paper model and it does take time to cut out the pieces and to assemble them. You’ll need some glue when assembling things, so you’ll need to pick that up at the store.
All of the pieces are printed onto medium-weight cardstock, so that they’ll be sturdy once assembled. I really appreciate the “weight” of the paper, because sometimes paper models can be flimsy. This speaks to the quality of this book & paper kit.
It’s going to take us a few weeks to get this done but once we have it completed I’ll update the post with some finished photos of our project. Until then, you can enter the giveaway below. Good Luck!
