The World Almanac and Book of Facts 2019

Our Thoughts: My husband and I are big “news addicts” and watch a lot of cable news. We enjoy reading a lot of newsworthy stories online too! We pride ourselves on educating ourselves on history and we enjoy learning about current events. We got this book in for review and were both fascinated with it. There are sections in the book that he really enjoyed and there were sections in the book that I enjoyed.

As someone who’s really into politics, I enjoyed all of the 2018 election results printed in the book. I also spent hours upon hours watching the royal wedding with my granddaughter, so I enjoyed that information too!

My husband enjoys astronomy, sports, the arts and geography, so he immediately had his nose in those sections in the book. It’s a really comprehensive book and there is a ton of information within it. You could spend weeks reading the book and learn something new each time you turn a page.

We have a 9 1/2 year old granddaughter and she’s been looking through the book too. She will read a few things and then ask us questions about what she read. I think its a great book for the entire family to enjoy. Okay, well…maybe not the little ones, but most of the family would enjoy this book!
