Every year I purchase several books and arts & craft kits to give to my grandchildren during the holiday season. Everyone focuses on giving kids toys, but I feel it’s equally important to give them books & craft kits too! These type’s of items encourage creative play, while being educational at the same time.

Let me introduce you to one of the newest crazes: Scratch and Sketch! The Princess Party – A Scratch & Sketch Adventure! Book that comes with an included stylus that is used on the special pages within the book.
Synopsis: Three activity books in one! Coloring pages follow the adventures of five princesses-in-training that are magically transformed into pirates and battle a wicked queen in a faraway land. Then, using the stylus included, children can reveal the foil and rainbow-colored backgrounds of 16 scratch art pages featuring these heroic characters. There are even drawing and doodle pages.
This book is broken down into 3 tabbed sections: Coloring Adventure (where kids can color in the pages), the Scratch & Sketch section where they will use the included stylus to scratch off colors and add their own designs to the pages and the Sketch Pad section where they can draw & sketch their own scenes and designs.
Really well-made book with a hardcover and spiral binding, so that pages will lay flat when your child is working on them. The included stylus is attached to the spiral binding with a ribbon, so that its always kept with the book. I really like that because our Princess is always losing the stylus!
These type’s of books are fun and this one is triple-fun thanks to the 3 entirely different sections. The characters are adorable and the story line in the book is fun & entertaining. This would make a great gift for any little girl on your holiday gift-giving list.
