My son is 3 1/2 years old and has to have things his way when it comes to bedtime. He has to have his favorite blanket, his stuffed dinosaur and comfortable pajamas. If those three things aren’t his way…then bedtime becomes a struggle.
The ergoPouch Winter Sleep Suit is perfect for those of you who live in colder climates or for those of you who have an anxious child who needs a weighted blanket or heavier pajamas. This sleep suit requires no sleeping bag or added blankets and comes from ergoPouch who offers top rated sleep wear for children.
Their Winter Sleep Suits are made from skin-friendly organic cotton jersey outer layer and 100% breathable cotton filling (not polyester). 2.5 Tog rated for warmth with fold over cuffs and mitts they’re the perfect option for toddlers that no longer require a sleeping bag. Each suit comes with a room thermometer with dressing guide, so that you dress your child appropriately for bed.
One of the things I like about the Winter Sleep Suit is that it has a 3-way zipper for easy access for diaper changing (if your child is still in diapers) or for toileting access. The zipper starts at the front neckline and goes completely down the front, under the buttocks area and 1/3 of the way up the back. Access couldn’t be easier!
We picked out a toddler size, so this particular Winter Sleep Suit has fold over cuffs at the ankles. If your child has cold feet, just uncuff them and they will cover up the feet to help keep them warm. The smaller sizes also include cuff mitts at the wrist opening. The fabrication is really soft and the more you launder it, the softer it gets. I would consider it to be a “medium weight” sleeper, so there is some heft to the fabrication.
