As a child the countdown to Christmas is almost as exciting as the holiday itself. When I was a child my parents would hang up an Advent Calendar every year on December 1st to countdown the days until Christmas. As each day passed, my excitement grew even more!

I appreciate how many different Advent calendars are now available for children to enjoy. I rather use some of these instead of the chocolate ones we used to use.
I like the Tidings of Joy Fabric Advent Calendar best since it builds up the manger scene and reminds us of the reason for the season.
I like both of the tree advent calendars. Kids really like the whole count down thing.
