We’re 2 days away from the official start of the holiday season and people are getting ready to put up their Christmas decorations. For many people they’ll be setting up and decorating their Christmas trees the weekend after Thanksgiving. When decorating our tree I like to play holiday music and snack on a batch of homemade cookies.

We have several different toppers,but my favorites always are the star and sometimes an angel.
We have tons of older ornaments I The topper we have used for some time is one my Mom made many years agoand was on our own tree as kids. It is an old star type. It looks homemade, but it works well. Many of our ornaments are hand made from Hubby’s Grandmother and Aunt. It doesnt look like Good Housekeeping trees but hey all have meaning.
Our tree topper is an angel that is over 100 years old. Talk about a long family tradition.
The angel tree topper is precious! I have an angel that was my MawMaw’s that I cherish. Hard to believe Christmas is around the corner.
I like all of these, especially the snowman. Right now, we have a big red bow with jingle bells on it.
