It’s also a really funny story that your child will love to read. It’s silly that the captain makes each of his crew walk the plank until there is no crew left and he’s stuck doing ALL the work. The rhyming and wonderful illustrations helped to bring the story alive too. Overall, it’s just a super enjoyable story.

We read to my grandson every day that he is with us and go to the library to get new books at least every other week. It is a favorite activity for both of us.
