We had a “lighter” schedule here on the blog this past week due to the holiday. We thank you for still hanging out with all of us! Enjoy your upcoming weekend!!!

  1. Love this week’s quote…so timely and powerful. The Banana Fruit Bread Recipe was the best ya’ll! I had heard of banana nut bread but never banana fruit bread. Thank you for all the great articles, recipes, cocktails, giveaways and crafts!

  2. Marilyn Nawara says

I would love to have the book Ultimate Slime — my grandsons love it when I make slime for them.

  3. I am looking forward to all you have planned for us this week. I love seeing what is new in your lives and the products you have for us to see.

  4. I love the quote you have this week, very good one. When you quite learning or listening or keeping your mind open to new and different things, things stagnant. I really like the blog- anything you write really, but in particular the travel posts and the recipes were really good.
I read Heathers response – I am so sorry about your cat, pets leave pawprints on our hearts. Hugs to you and I am hoping you find peace. I agree, this is a great blog to destress.

  5. Jo-Ann Brightman says

I find this to be a very interesting quote. I disagree with the first part because i think that both parts of the quote are true.

  6. I really wanted to thank you guys for another nice week on the blog. I tell ya coming to your blog everyday just brings me peace and helps me de-stress. It has been a terrible week for me, my 19 year old bengal cat died on Monday and I buried him Tuesday morning and my heart is broken in half. When I come home I forget he’s not here anymore. When I wake up in the morning I forget that he’s not here anymore. So I have been crying all week. Boy I tell ya this summer has sucked between the endless forest fires, evacuation notice and losing my boy I am a mess. Just wanted to thank you guys for making my day a little better. God Bless.

    • Sorry to hear that Heather. The loss of a pet is always hard and it takes some time to grieve, just like with a human loss.
