Christmas Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Kids

December 19, 2016 by Shelly

Christmas Stocking Stuffer Ideas for KidsEvery year I look forward to stuffing my grandchildren’s Christmas stockings with edible treats, novelties and little treasured gifts. Every holiday season, I typically spend $25 on each grandchild’s Christmas stocking and I love to get creative with some of the items I place inside.

Do you struggle with stocking stuffer ideas? We’ve compiled a great list of ideas for you and the majority of the ideas are unisex. The list includes goodies for the littlest ones ,through the older children on your gift-giving list.

For those of you who would like to print out these ideas, we’ve got a handy printable word doc for you. Just click HERE to print the ideas out or feel free to pin our holiday stockings over on Pinterest!

I love this list with its mixture of traditional and novel ideas. I try to mix edible with non-edible items. I shall definitely keep your list to help me pick out things for next year.

We actually stopped using stockings years ago in favor of medium sized Christmas bags. I just go tired of trying to fit stuff in stockings. The shape of a bag lets you fit stuff in easier, lol.

I agree with ellen about getting stocking stuffers year round at Dollar Tree. Love stickers & coloring books & crayons.

I always run out of ideas for the stockings but I am so going to use some of your wonderful ideas. I love the edible and non-edible ideas. I love the sticker idea and the keychains thanks for the great list.

Thats a great list. I like how the ‘traditional’ oranges and apples are in the stockings. Back in ‘the day’ an orange in winter around here was a treat we looked forward too. I also like how simple the stuffers are. I think so many try way too hard. I like picking things up during the year from the Dollar Store or wherever to have in stockings- like when little chapsticks or whatever are on sale, or small boxes of candy.
