Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and for this special day, I always like to look nice! This year…my husband and I are holding our Valentine’s Day “date night” at home with a catered dinner and a movie. I’m really looking forward to it.
To get ready for Valentine’s Day and my special date night, Duri Cosmetics sent me their new 5 piece Valentine’s Day collection to review for all of you. To make it even more fun, I invited my little grand daughter and my 67 year old mother over for a mani and pedi party with me!
Duri offers over 250 beautiful shades of nail polish to choose from. All of their nail polishes are environmentally-friendly, contain no DBP, no Toluene and no Formaldehyde.
The new I LOVE HUE! Valentine’s Day collection includes 5 beautiful shades of reds and pinks.
* Every Day is a Valentine is a pigment rich true red
* Cupid Rules is a modern bubblegum pink
* Iced Roses is a pretty pastel floral bouquet color
* Unexpected Kiss is sheer orchid pink
* Sweetheart is a bright, red-orange shade
Of course…all of these beautiful colors can be worn year-round and all of them are perfect for your fingers and/or toes!
One of the things I love about these nail polishes is that I only need one or two coats…depending on the shade. I love the even coverage that I get and I appreciate that they dry fairly quickly. With most of the shades…I can go 7-8 days before I need a touch-up which is really great!
Often times when I read nail polish reviews I never hear from the reviewer about how easy or hard it is to remove the polish. Well, with polishes from Duri Cosmetics, I found them very easy to remove. It didn’t take me hours and they didn’t stain my nails. That’s very important to know when you are selecting these types of products.
Overall, We really enjoyed using them! They were easy to apply and there were no stinky chemical smells associated with them. Even my 6 1/2 year old little grand daughter was able to use them since they don’t contain any harsh chemicals.
