As a Purex Insider I get to try out all of the new laundry products when they are released. Today, I get to talk to all of you about the Purex PowerShot Laundry Detergent and my experience with it.
Before I get started, I do want to admit that I am picky about the laundry products that I use. I look for products that are affordable, do a good job at cleaning my family’s clothing and one that has a nice fragrance to it.
The Purex PowerShot is coming to retail stores near you during the month of February. This new liquid laundry detergent simplifies the laundry routine by taking the guesswork out of measuring. I don’t know about all of you, but I know that over the years I’ve wasted detergent because I didn’t measure correctly.
Purex PowerShot is the only bottle that automatically dispenses the right amount of super concentrated detergent with 50% more stain-fighting power in every drop (as compared to regular Purex liquid detergent). Just open the cap, flip the bottle upside down to deliver one super concentrated dose of detergent. Flip the bottle back upright, and you’re done!
The built-in auto-dosing technology in the bottle takes out all of the guesswork on how much detergent is needed. For a regular load just use 1 flip. For extra dirty loads use two flips. Yes folks, it is as simple as that!!! Now your kids can help with the laundry too!
This new laundry detergent is available in 2 popular fragrances: Mountain Breeze and Natural Elements Linen & Lillies.
For the review I received a complimentary bottle of the Purex PowerShot in the popular Mountain Breeze scent. The first thing that I want to say is this: I love that it’s in a clear bottle and I can see exactly how much laundry detergent is in there. There is no guessing on how much is left and when I need to pick up more.
I had a lot of filthy dirty bath linens and decided to test it out on that. I flipped the bottle upside down and used only 1 flip of detergent in the washing machine. I laundered the bath linens as I normally do. Once done, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean all of our light-colored linens were and how fresh & clean they smelled. Furthermore, I used no fabric softener and our linens were soft and had no static cling. Impressive indeed!
