Element 5 Day Yoga DVD with 5 Workout Programs

Element 5 Day Yoga DVD with 5 Workout ProgramsOver the past few years I have shared with all of you a little bit about my chronic health problems. To sum it up for all of the newbies to our blog, I suffer with a rare genetic disease called Porphryia. Chronic pain is part of my daily life.

As someone who suffers with pain, it is important that I get daily exercise. Sure, it may hurt but in the long run, it’s what is best for my health and my body. For my physical fitness I turn to Yoga which helps me to strengthen my body and refresh my soul.

A few weeks ago I got the Element 5 Day Yoga DVD which includes 5 different Yoga programs. These programs are designed to strengthen your body, help you to become more flexible, confident and energized. If you have never tried Yoga before, I highly recommend it.

The entire DVD was filmed in a lush garden overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean. Contained on the DVD are five different 15-minute Yoga sessions that you can do in the privacy of your own home and at your own pace.

The Strength & Stamina practice focuses on toning the lower body with a strong series of standing poses. The Energy & Flexibility session is uplifting and designed to increase flexibility and to release stress & tension. The Core Power session focuses on toning and strengthening the abdominals and conditioning your cardiovascular system. Stretch & Restore is one of my favorites on the entire DVD and can help to reduce stress, improve your posture and help you to become more flexible. The Stress Relief & Meditation session rounds them all out by helping you to reduce stress, relax and breathe deeply.

I think the DVD is very comprehensive and offers something to everyone who is into Yoga from the newbie to someone who is well-experienced. All of the sessions are by one of the premiere yoga instructors named Ashley Turner who teaches in Los Angeles.
