We Love the Girl Scout Cookies

girl scout cookiesGood morning! TGIF!!! What a frigid start to my day here in PA! OMG, it is 3 degrees out there! Blah, this is not how I want to start off the month of March at all. Last weekend we had temps in the 50’s and 60’s with plenty of sunshine. Today? Old man winter is back and I am not liking him at all.

Today’s Topic: It is Girl Scout Cookie Time! I got 14 boxes of cookies delivered to me a few days ago. We love supporting the Girl Scouts and all of their programs. Our daughter was a scout for 13 years! Anyway, today I would like to know which flavor is your favorite? I love the Tagalongs but hubby is all about those Thin Mints!

Last night we had a few giveaways close and we do have a few winners to announce this morning. After validating entries, Random.org is used to randomly select our winners. All winners are notified via email and have 48 hours to respond to our email or a new winner will be selected. We will NOT hunt you down and chase you around. It is your job to check your email!!!

Congratulations to both of my lucky winners this morning! wootwoot! I love to see people win great prizes! Emails have already been sent to the winners, so please check your email. I hope everyone has a great upcoming weekend!

I didn’t get any girl scout cookies this year. Its really cold temperture’s are really low her. My dad said that the groundhog saw his shadow, March came in like a lion and out like a lamb. I’m looking forward to Spring, I stay sick so much in the winter.

Oh, Girl Scout Cookies…. such yummy memories! I seriously have to restrict the amount of boxes I buy because I could eat an entire sleeve of Thin Mints in one day. Not the healthiest thing to do, but so very delicious! The Tagalogs are another favorite of mine, but now that my daughter has a peanut allergy, I’ll have to get my fix outside of my home. 🙂

  3. Oh man, don’t even get me started about Thin Mints! I have to hide them from myself if they’re going to last more than a day. I think they used a better grade of chocolate back in the day, but that doesn’t stop me from devouring them when I get my hands on a box.

Girl Scout Cookies are great, of course, but they’re crazy expensive. That’s probably a good thing, though, because otherwise I’d buy and eat way too many!

  4. I would loooooooooooooove 14 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies…I could go for some Thin Mints right about now.

  5. I love the thin mints. I really need to get a box it has been too long since I have had one. The Girl Scouts have been outside my favorite grocery store selling them. I have been trying to watch my weight so I haven’t purchased a box yet but it is for such a great cause I think I will what ‘s one box.

  6. I ordered 3 boxes, but mine haven’t been delivered yet. So yummy!

  7. I haven’t had a Girl Scout cookie in a long, long time. I was in 4-H, not Girl Scouts. I have mixed feelings over them setting up in from of the pot shops. Don’t get me started about the message it sends. Happy weekend, on a bright note.

    Congratulations to the 2 winners.
Not only is today frigid, but they are forecasting a major snowstorm to start Sunday evening and perhaps go through to Tuesday morning. Ugh
My favorite Girl Scout cookie is the Thin Mints

  9. Tough choice – Samoas are a guilty pleasure, but the Thin Mints bring back so many memories of bein a Brownie and Girl Scout.

  10. I could eat a whole box of the thin mints! I love the Samoas too! I will have to get some of these cookies because I just like supporting the Girl Scouts and their cookies are so good.
