Duelette Hair Bands/Bracelets are addictive, attractive, and practical. Chilly Jilly nailed it with this one.
Teen Girl (TG for short) and I walk around with hair bands on our wrists. It’s an old habit born out of necessity. We both had longer hair that would occasionally get in the way, so a hairband came in handy. TG is rocking a killer bob these days, but the hairband ‘bracelet’ habit remains for us both. When the kind people at Chilly Jilly asked if I wanted to give a Duelette Hair Band/Bracelet a go, I went for it. So glad I did. Well, I guess it depends on how you look at it because this may become an addiction.
First thing I noticed was the adorable gift packaging. Polka dots rule in my book and I was not expecting the cuteness. Score one point for Chilly Jilly. Second thing was a cute test tube the Duelette came packaged in. It’s the perfect size for dropping into a lunch bag or purse as a surprise for someone. Science geek TG squealed a little at the cuteness.
The Duelette I received has a black band with gold and silver accents. The beads are 14K gold and silver plated and shine beautifully when the light hits them just right. As expected from a hairband, it holds perfectly with no slippage when running errands or working out. I think I’m addicted. This is one goody TG will not snag as hers. Sorry, honey.
The Duelette is available with a black or white band with silver, gold, or combo beads. I’m going back for white with silver for me and might get another one or two for TG – if she asks nicely. Not interested in hair bands? Chilly Jilly has a variety of accessories like The Wrap (love), The Gloves (adore), and The Wrapper Blanket (must have).
Go browse the aisles and become addicted with me. Chilly Jilly, you had me at the polka dots. You can follow Chilly Jilly on Facebook to interact with fans and to keep up-to-date with company & product news! Thanks Chilly Jilly!

Never heard of Chilly Jilly but I will give them a look-see!
Although I use barrettes thse hair band might make me change my mind. They are both cute and attractive. I have to look at Chilly Jilly. This is the first time I have heard of them and their wraps on FB look gorgeous.
I almost always need my hair up, so I am forever looking for a hair band and thus I do end up keeping a hair band around my wrist. These look very fashionable and at the same time, don’t look obviously like hair bands on the wrist. Pretty enough to be considered bracelets, especially with the sparkling beads. Thanks for the review! I’ll have to keep Chilly Jilly products in mind!
Can’t wait to share this with my daughter. She went all through school wearing scuncis on her wrist. Functional and later fashionable. They were in easy reach to hold her hair back but later became very trendy. It was a goal to find cute and unique ones. Glad a company has taken this idea and ran with it.
Thanks for this review. I like you also walk around with hairbands on my wrist so this would be perfect for me. I am going to go check out this site. Thanks again for introducing me to an awesome site.
