Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce Recipe

February 27, 2013 by Shelly

Looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe? Well guess what…we have one for you today! This recipe makes 4 servings and you only need a handful of ingredients to make it. Furthermore, with the hot summer months coming soon, it is completely made on the stove top!

Moore's Marinades and Sauces

Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce Recipe

4 large pork chops
1 can of sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 can of water
1 tbsp. flour (optional)
1 tbsp. olive oil

Brown the pork chops in a large frying pan with a little bit of olive oil. Once they are browned, stir in the sliced mushrooms, can of cream of mushroom soup and a 1/4 can of water. Reduce hit to low-medium and simmer until pork chops are done (about 25 minutes). Note, if you want to thicken the sauce, stir in 1 tbsp. of flour during the last 5 minutes of cooking time.

Great served along side rice or buttered pasta noodles.

I’d season the pork chops with onion and garlic powder and balck pepper before browning. This is a fast easy recipe. I used to use condensed soups more. I should start these short cuts again.

This is so delicious. Only difference is I bake it in the oven after I brown the chops. All my kids always enjoyed this.

I’d season it with some thyme and garlic.

Yummy! I love mushrooms, so I’ll probably add 2 cans of mushrooms to it.

These sound good. We made some similar to this when I was younger! Thanks for sharing!!
