Are you planning a fun summer party this year? Family gathering or some other kind of evening or nighttime event? If so, you have got to check out all of the fun blinkee accessories that Blinkee.com has to offer!

When you shop at Blinkee.com you will find all kinds of flashy blinkys like flashing margarita glasses, electronic mood rings, blinking refrigerator magnets, LED gloves, body lights, blinkee sunglasses, optic hair lights, lighted barware, fiber optic caps, flashing jewelry and all kinds of other things that have blinky lights or flashing lights in them or on them! This site is HUGE with thousands upon thousands of cool, fun products!

The great folks over at Blinkee.com sent us several things to review for all of you for our big “Fun in the Summer Sun” blog event. First up is the Huge Electronic Mood Ring that my grand-wee-one quickly snatched from me. The mood ring is made of plastic and measures 1 1/4″ in diameter. To get it to light up, you simply press the little button underneath and it goes to town! It will go from red, purple, green, orange, yellow to blue. It is super cool and the wee one just loves it!

We also received the Huge Blink and Glow Pink LED Ring which the wee-one also snatched from me as soon as it arrived. It measures 1 1/4″ in diameter and there is a little button underneath the ring that you press to turn it on. It will flash or you can set it to just glow, your choice! Just like the first ring, wee-one loves it!

The Hula Girl Body Lights is a super cool piece just for me! You can wear this on your body or pin it to your clothing. It has a 2-part magnetic disk so you can attach it to your shirt, jacket, hat or even your purse without puncturing any holes into your garments. You turn the little disk on the back which turns it on and the hula girl has multiple flashing colored lights. I have her on my tote bag. You can also use her as a refrigerator magnet too!

Grand-wee-ones next favorite item that we received is this pair of very cool Heart LED Sunglasses which are perfect for girls and/or boys. They are not made to protect your eyes, these sunglasses are made for fun! They come with the batteries included and you turn them on via a tiny switch near the ear piece. There are 3 settings, quick blinking of lights, a slower blinking of lights and then a steady light. The wee one LOVES wearing these indoors and outdoors in the evening. She thinks she is “HOT STUFF” strutting around in her new blinking sunglasses!

We also got some Glowbys Fiber Optic Hair Lights that are super cool. I think they would be awesome to wear in your hair to go to a music concert, evening sporting event or to go out clubbing! They click in your hair just like a normal barrette would and is super comfy to wear. My adult DD wore one out to a club last weekend and loved it!

Finally, we received the LED Margarita Drinking Glass which is ultra cool! This is great for outdoor summer entertaining in the evening for sure! This drinking glass has a little switch on the bottom of it. You can set it to show only one color continuously or set it to show flashing colors. Lots of different options with that! It is made of a clear acrylic material so you can use it indoors or outdoors by the pool. Way cool! You can see one of these in my top center photo.

All of these products are super fun and perfect for summer! Not only that, they are all affordable! Now is the time to stock up so you are ready for all of your summer parties and events! yeah! I also think these type of things would be PERFECT for little kid’s birthday parties too!

Today I would like to introduce you to a line of home fragrance products by Laura Ashley. In a few weeks you will find these products being sold in Bed, Bath and Beyond across the nation.

My Review: I received a beautiful candle in the English Garden scent to review for all of you. This scented candle comes in a beautiful floral print gift box with a ribbon bow. The candle weighs 7.8 oz. so it’s a really nice size and will burn for 40-60 hours.

I would describe the scent as being a light floral that reminds me of walking through a rose garden. It’s not a heavy scent and it’s not over-powering at all. The candle is a single-wick candle and comes in a beautiful heavy-weight glass candle container that has a white rose pattern printed all over it.

I am not a huge floral scent person but do enjoy floral scents from time to time if they are light and airy…this one is definitely that. I lit the candle a few evenings ago and have it sitting on our dinning room table. It’s a great scent for bedrooms, living rooms, dinning rooms or even a powder room.

The candle burned cleanly and evenly for me. It didn’t sputter or get too sooty for me at all. Within a few minutes of burning the candle you could smell the light rose scent going through our dinning room which was really nice while we were having dinner.  The next day I decided to burn it in our master bathroom while I took a bubble bath and it was great in there too!

It comes beautifully packaged and would make a great gift for anyone on your gift-giving list who loves candles and light floral scents. Great for Mother’s Day gifts, End of the Year Teacher’s gifts, Birthday gifts, Holiday gifts, etc. Just place the gift-boxed candle in a gift bag and you are ready to go!

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Thompson Ferrier who makes an exquisite line of luxury candles to enlighten your senses and illuminate your home. Their distinct and unique candles are beautiful to look at it and a great way to scent your home with high-quality fragrances. Each candle that they sell comes in a beautiful gift box or a beautiful drawstring pouch which makes them fabulous for gift-giving.

My Review: The great folks over at Thompson Ferrier sent me 2 of their beautiful candles to review for all of you. First up is the large Cassis Pomegranate Candle that comes in an elegant frosted glass square shaped candle container. The candle is a blend of juicy guava, pink grapefruit, black currant, ruby pomegranate, coconut milk and island vanilla. The candle features 3 cotton wicks to ensure even burning.

The candle will burn cleanly and evenly because it is made from 100% cosmetic grade soy paraffin. It has been hand poured in the USA and contains 13.4 oz. of wax. Wow, that is a nice sized candle for sure and you can purchase it for only $48.00.

I love the elegant frosted glass container that this candle comes in…a really pretty swirl pattern has been etched onto the glass. The fragrance is really nice, even though they state it’s fruity scented…in my opinion it’s a light floral fruity scent. (fruity but with hints of floral). We have been burning the candle in our dining room while we enjoy our family dinners each night and we love it.

We also received the Rhubarb Anise Candle in a round metal tin. This one has anise, rhubarb, strawberry, sugarcane, black licorice and red raspberries as it’s fragrance notes. This candle is made from 100% cosmetic grade soy paraffin wax and weighs 6.7 ounces. It features a single cotton wick and will burn for approximately 30 hours. It has been hand poured in the USA and you can purchase it for only $15.00.

I love owning candles in metal tins as we travel a lot and I like to take candles with me when we travel. This candle makes a great travel one but for now I have been burning it in our guest bathroom. I love that when the lid is on this candle it looks like a perfume jar and you would never know it was a candle so it looks pretty sitting out on my vanity top. This candle smells nice and light and burns super cleanly. This is a great unisex fragrance!

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called PiixlWix Candle Company who sells 100% Soy candles in colorful, re-usable candle containers with delicious smelling fragrances that have been inspired by life and music.

When you shop at PiixlWix Candle Company 8 oz. mason jar candles (in a variety of scents), 100% soy wax melts (in a variety of scents), Roll-on Perfume Oil (in a variety of fragrances), and some adorable refrigerator magnets.

My Review: The generous folks over at PiixlWix Candle Company sent me two of their 8 oz. mason jar candles to review for all of you. Each of their mason jar candles are made with 100% soy wax and custom blended so that each candle is unique and special. The candles are in cute square-shaped glass mason jars with a pewter daisy lid. Once you receive your candle you simply remove the paper liner (which preserves the fragrance) so that you candle is now ready to burn. They use 100% cotton, self-trimming wicks in their candles and each candle has an approximate burn time of 55-60 hours.

The “Goin’up The Country” candle smells like you walked into a little country store with the fragrance of freshly baked bread, crisp ripe apples with just a hint of warm vanilla. Personally, it smells just like my kitchen on days that I am baking some homemade bread and I love that type of scent! Delicious!

“The Lemon Song” candle smells like a whole bunch of freshly squeezed lemons with just a hint of vanilla sugar as it’s under-notes. Personally, I think it smells just like my grandma’s homemade lemon cream shortbread cookies. Delicious!

The 8 oz. soy mason jar candles come in 8 delicious smelling scents so there is definitely one to suit everyone. I would consider the two that I reviewed to be moderately scented, not over-powering at all. The candles burn super cleanly with no soot and they burn evenly. Each candle is super affordable at only $9.99 each. I just love them and I think you will too!
