The Tired Techie Girl

Welcome to a new “Almost Wordless Wednesday” post here on the Two Classy Chics blog! Yay! I have really been enjoying these posts as it is a way for me to share some things with all of you that goes on within my own life.

Our Beautiful Grand Dog – Princess Nellari

My daughter and her fiance got Princess Nellari when she was only 10 weeks old about 5 years ago. At the time that they got her…they were living with us for a few months so we instantly bonded with our grand dog. Often times when

Dinner Time

My Lou is a spoiled guy, but with that being said, that does not mean he gets table scraps very often. My husband is notorious for sneaking him things under the table or giving him the left over meat. Mom on the other hand is the meanie and I give him nothing. So now when it is dinner time, Lou can usually be found staring at you in hopes that he can intimidate you enough to give you food. In today’s Wordless Wednesday post, Lou was regulated to the other room when we were eating dinner, but we could still feel those beady eyes…

Misty Morning on the Rocky Oregon Coast

I love the water and any time I can get to the ocean or lake, I am there. This past summer, I spent several days in Oregon just over the border of California in a small town there. The coast line is rocky and so

5 Family Generations at Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was last week and I was very blessed that this year I could enjoy it. We went into the assisted living center/nursing home and spent our Thanksgiving with my great auntie and the other seniors who live there. My maternal grandmother passed away when

Veteran’s Day Memorial – The American Flag

Yes, Veterans Day was celebrated yesterday but I think any day is a great day to remember our vets and thank them for a job well done. My local community college and a chapter of the Rotary club in town decided to celebrate our vets and current service men and women. The first Field of Honor opened at the college on November 3 and remained open until November 11 in honor of Veterans, current military, police officers, firefighters and other first responders.

Veteran's Day Memorial

The Field consisted of 1,000 large United States flags – 1,000 flags lined up and lit all night long in honor of our service men and women. The flags are sponsored by various businesses and individual from the community. It was a stunning sight to see and I made sure to go over and get several pictures to share. I love this! The closing ceremonies were on Veterans day with a parade following. Enjoy!

Amusement Park Fun

We took our annual family vacation down to the Jersey Shore back during the first week in September. Every year the family gets together during Labor Day week and we hang out together for our family vacation. This year the princess was old enough to

A Beautiful Pacific Coast Sunset

I love the water. I am a lot like Miss Shelly in that aspect. When I have a chance to get to the ocean, I am there. Several months ago on my trip to Oregon, we took the coast highway and traveled through Northern California
