My Review: The generous folks over at Apostolic Clothing sent me a gorgeous Long Flowing Chiffon & Lace Skirt to review for all of you. If you love the Maxi Skirt, you will love this skirt and it’s available in 2 classic shades (black or ivory).
The skirt has a wide elastic waistband with a drawstring closure but the drawstring is not really functional, more for a decorative look. This skirt is a pull-on/pull-off type of style so there are no zippers or snaps to mess with. The waistband is done in a camel color which adds a nice color contrast to the ivory.
The skirt is made up of 2 layers…the inner slip layer and then the outer lace layer. You do not need to wear a slip underneath it all all thanks to the attached inner slip. The attached slip underneath is about 6″ shorter in length than the outer lace layer and I really like that as it shows just a tiny bit of skin at the bottom of the skirt.
The fabrication is a Polyester & Rayon blend so it will need to be dry cleaned. (although I hand washed mine and it was fine). The lacy layer of the skirt is done in tiers which is really pretty and figure-flattering on the body. I love how girlie this skirt looks but yet…very classy looking too!
This is a great skirt that you can wear dressed-up to work, to church or to a special event or dress it down for a leisure day. You can wear it with heels, sandals or even with a pair of flip-flops!

I will be taking my new skirt with my on vacation later this month and I think it will be perfect to wear out to dinner, walking on the boardwalk or whatever else we may be doing! Fantastic, I give it a huge 2 thumbs up!

I am sorely in need to new summer clothing. I have been neglecting my wardrobe lately because I work at home most of the time. The problem is that now many of my tops are old, faded and just worn out. Wearing plus size clothing makes it difficult to find clothes that fit me properly or are of good quality. I was sent a cute top to review for you all. When I first opened the package I thought it was going to be a heavy top. But when I pulled it out it is a very light, sheer material and the front of the v neck is lined inside as well which I was surprised to see but thrilled! The V is highlighted by some cute beading.
The back has a elastic waist for a great fit and you can cover with the cute fabric tie that is optional to use. The sleeves are 3/4 length and are very sheer fabric too, matching the back of the top. The color is a multi color with brown, rust, a splash of aqua and a touch of cream. The print is very pretty and even hubby likes it! This top will be perfect to wear casually or I can dress it up with some nice slacks for church or a meeting. Super cute!
