B-SKINZ Active Wear and Casual Clothing for Women

It takes a bold woman to wear a slightly-shiny, skin-hugging animal print spandex pant to a work out. Today, I am that bold woman! I’ve been reviewing two pieces of active wear from B-Skinz — a playful Pucci-syle patterned skort and said animal print ankle-length legging. Both pieces fit like a glove and definitely made a statement when compared to my less-cheerful and boring work-out attire.
B-SKINZ Active Wear and Casual Clothing for Women
B-Skinz was founded in 2007 to provide more colorful athletic wear options for today’s girls and women. This athletic wear is made in the USA and was designed with the strong, self-possessed, confident girl in mind. B-Skinzs offers a kaleidoscope of colors, along with an extensive variety of styles. With over 125 rich colors and bold patterns that are comfortable and easy to wear, there is definitely something for everyone in the full line of athletic wear, which includes capri-length and ankle-length-pants, skorts, sport tunic tops, sports bras, and even headbands to name a few. The clothing is made from high-quality nylon spandex, and uses cuts and styles that allow for full range of motion.

While getting my tush kicked in my boot camp class, I definitely noticed just how comfortable they were. I was able to do all of my usual circuit training, jumping and stretching without the clothing riding up or being uncomfortable. I participate in a very Rocky-Balboa type of work out in a parking garage with all of the basics, plus a great trainer, but imagine me brightening up the place with my very noticeable feline-printed work out gear! MEEE-OWWW!

Both items I reviewed were very vibrant ones from the B-Skinz line. The first one I tried was the Feline print ankle-length pant as I mentioned above. This pant is not for the bashful babe. I wore them with a black t-shirt, but to be honest, while I love animal print, I think I personally would have liked something a little more muted, such as a light grey animal print or even a light pink. That’s a trend I really like right now and think that it would be a great addition to the B-Skinz line. They also have some pants that have just a splash of “wow” instead of an entire pant of “wow”, which may work better for those of us that don’t mind drawing attention ourselves, but maybe not as much when we’re doing mountain climber exercises with our backsides facing the rest of the class.

I really enjoyed wearing the skort, which includes the built-in compression short. As you can see in the picture, I reviewed the Love Child print “all in one” skort. It is perfect for a bike ride to the beach with family and friends. We often bike to outdoor concerts in the summer and I love that this doesn’t look like your typical work out gear. This is going to be my sassy summer work-out skort for sure! The fit was excellent and I love the print as well. They have so many to choose from too, from light to bright with prints of all types.

What is most unique and cool about B-Skinz is that you can customize your own order using one or more of the current patterns and/ or colors, or have something screen printed with team logos and/or names, which is perfect for clubs, groups, and leagues, as well as events reunions, races, and parties.

Overall, these are very well-made pieces of work-out gear that fit well and feel terrific. They are affordable and durable with no sheer fabrics that might cause you to show a little more skin than you had planned. I would recommend that you check out the website to find your style and put a little more pizzazz and a boost of bold into your work out or sport.

Spring Scarves from FRAAS

Spring Scarves from FRAAS

The rising interest in chic, year-round accessories and fashion layering is evident everywhere. Fashion-savvy women have discovered the versatility of scarves as an accessory and are collecting them each season to accent their wardrobes and individualize their personal style. FRAAS is on target with an exciting new range for Spring-Summer 2013.

FRAAS sent me a new rectangular shaped scarf from their Spring 2013 collection to review for all of you. The style #623949 in the light turquoise color. Mixed in with the turquoise is navy blue, aqua, mulberry and teal…perfect color scheme for Spring and Summer.

Spring Scarves from FRAAS

The scarf is made out of 100% Viscose and feels silky smooth to the touch. One of the things I like about this scarf is that it’s “unstructured” meaning that the ends were left unfinished and frayed. When I say frayed…it’s pretty, not a messy look fray at all.

Since the scarf is rectangular shaped, you can wear it many different ways! You can drape it over your head as a head-covering, wear it around your neck like a traditional scarf, fold it all up and run it through the belt loops of your trousers/jeans, use it as a shawl or tie it around your waist as a bathing suit cover-up!

I have reviewed many scarves over the past 3 1/2 years and I have to admit, this is one of the prettiest scarves I have ever reviewed! The photos simply do not do any justice for this scarf! I really love the size and shape of this scarf which makes it a very versatile accessory in my wardrobe!

Those designers over at FRAAS sure do have an “eye” for colors, prints and patterns, as I think this scarf is stunning! It is right on ‘trend’ for Spring and Summer fashion this year!

Head on over to FRAAS and check out all of their beautiful scarves! You will find some beautiful scarves for both men and women.
